Founder and Chairman of Jolly Learning Ltd; Founder of Jolly Futures; Jolly Futures Committee MemberChris has played a leading role in advocating for the spread of the Jolly Futures Programme around the world, since it was initiated in 2006. He has travelled to almost all Jolly Futures countries with the aim of improving English literacy levels amongst underpriviledged children.

Gilbert Jolly
CEO Jolly Learning Ltd; Jolly Futures Committee MemberGilbert is the CEO of Jolly Learning. Prior to this role, he had been developing software for Jolly Phonics and Jolly Futures since 2015, gaining extensive experience working directly with users of his tools on the ground across Africa. He combines his long-standing knowledge of Jolly Phonics with his technology expertise to continue elevating the programme across both the commercial and philanthropic divisions of the company.

Louise Jolly, PhD
Jolly Futures Committee MemberLouise has been managing Jolly Futures projects across Africa since 2011. She has a PhD in a rights-based approach to improving literacy in Nigeria from the University of York and is a UK-qualified teacher.

Gary Foxcroft
Jolly Futures Committee MemberGary Foxcroft is the co-founder of Universal Learning Solutions and has dedicated over 18 years to advancing education and child rights across Africa. Universal Learning Solutions launched the first Jolly Futures project in Nigeria in 2006, and Gary has brought a wealth of experience and commitment to this work ever since.

Sian Summers Issa
Programmes Director Jolly Futures; Jolly Futures Committee MemberSian has been supporting Jolly Futures projects across Africa since 2018. She has a postgraduate in Early Years Development and is also a teacher and Jolly Phonics Trainer.

Sheba Kafwimbi Moyo
Programmes Manager, Jolly FuturesSheba has a wealth of educational experience across different educational sectors in Zambia. She holds a Masters in Educational Management. She is a trained teacher and also a professional Jolly Phonics trainer.

Irene Musyoki
Projects Officer, Jolly FuturesIrene is based in Kenya. She is a trained teacher and a former Head Teacher. She has extensive experience as a Jolly Phonics trainer and has delivered training across the continent in a variety of settings and contexts.
