A great improvement in literacy levels were found during these pilots in spite of the academic year being disrupted due to Covid-19. Students also succeed in learning French. Other benefits of Jolly Phonics included; improved school attendance, increased interest in learning, improved English skills for teachers and increased enthusiasm to teach in an engaging manner.
