In 2022 Jolly Phonics was implemented in Vizainagaram and 7 blocks in Vishakapatinum district. Dr. B. Pratap Reddy, the Director of SCERT, along with the assistance of Ms. Sailaja Madam, have played a crucial role in the success of these rollouts. The involvement of DEOs, Coordinators, MEOs, CRPs in the training further strengthened the impact of the programme.
Jolly Phonics has benefited a large number of schools, teachers, and students. The positive response from teachers, who found the training useful and exciting, is a testament to the effectiveness of the Jolly Phonics methodology. The immediate impact on students' ability to blend words, read longer words and understand and apply spelling rules has been encouraging for all involved. The use of WhatsApp groups to provide on-going support has contributed to sustaining the positive impact of the programme in Vizainagaram Vishakapatinum districts.

Dr. S.V. Gomathi is an experienced Education Consultant and a certified Jolly Phonics Professional Trainer. With a strong commitment to literacy, Dr. Gomathi plays a crucial role in enhancing education systems by supporting government (particularly in rural and tribal areas) and private schools across India. She manages large-scale Jolly Phonics projects in selected states, helping to improve early literacy skills among young learners. In addition to her consultancy work, Dr. Gomathi remains passionate about teaching and continues to work directly with the early years children, nurturing their foundational literacy skills and fostering a love for learning.
